Translation of the meaning by Sahih International.
_Page 98 of the Madinah Muṣḥaf covers Surah An-Nisāʾ (4:122–127). These verses discuss Allah's promise of Paradise to believers, the superiority of sincere submission to Allah, the religion of Prophet Ibrahim (ʿalayhi as-salām), Allah's ownership of the heavens and earth, and rulings concerning women and orphans. Below are key hadiths and Sunnah related to these verses.
"But those who believe and do righteous deeds, We will admit them into gardens beneath which rivers flow..."
"It will not be according to your wishes nor the wishes of the People of the Scripture..."
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"No one's deeds will enter him into Paradise."
They asked, "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?"
He replied:
"Not even me, unless Allah envelops me in His mercy."

Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih Muslim
This explains that salvation is not based on claims, wishes, lineage, or identity, but upon faith, righteous deeds, and Allah's mercy.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever does good equal to the weight of an atom will see it, and whoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom will see it."

Sahih Muslim
Reported from the Qur'anic teaching of Surah Az-Zalzalah (99:7–8).
This relates to verse 123, which teaches that people are judged by their deeds rather than mere aspirations.
"And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer, those will enter Paradise..."
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Women are the counterparts of men."
Source:
Sunan Abi Dawud
Jami' at-Tirmidhi
This reflects the Qur'anic principle that men and women are equally accountable before Allah and equally eligible for His reward.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"If a woman prays her five prayers, fasts her month, guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, it will be said to her: Enter Paradise through whichever gate of Paradise you wish."

Graded authentic by several scholars.
"Who is better in religion than one who submits himself to Allah while doing good and follows the religion of Ibrahim..."
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The most beloved religion to Allah is the upright, tolerant religion of Ibrahim."

Musnad Ahmad
This hadith is often cited alongside verse 125 regarding the millah (way) of Ibrahim.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Allah has taken me as a close friend (Khalīl) just as He took Ibrahim as a close friend."
Sources:
Sahih Muslim
This directly relates to the verse:
"And Allah took Ibrahim as a close friend (Khalīl)."
"To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth..."
The Prophet ﷺ narrated that Allah says:
"O My servants, if the first of you and the last of you, the humans among you and the jinn among you, were all as righteous as the most righteous heart of any one man among you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything."
Source:
Sahih Muslim
This reflects Allah's complete independence and ownership of all creation.
"They ask you for a ruling concerning women..."
This verse was revealed regarding issues involving women and orphan girls whose rights were sometimes neglected.
Aisha bint Abi Bakr explained:
"This verse concerns an orphan girl under the care of her guardian. Her wealth and beauty may attract him, so he wishes to marry her without giving her a fair dowry. They were prohibited from doing so unless they dealt justly with them."
Sources:
Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih Muslim
This is one of the most important narrations for understanding verse 127.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"I and the one who cares for an orphan will be in Paradise like these."
He held his index and middle fingers together.
Source:
Sahih al-Bukhari
This reflects the Qur'anic concern for protecting orphan children and their property.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Avoid the seven destructive sins."
Among them he mentioned:
"Consuming the property of an orphan."
Sources:
Sahih al-Bukhari
Sahih Muslim
This directly supports the theme of safeguarding the rights of vulnerable orphans found throughout Surah An-Nisāʾ.
Among these, the most directly connected narrations are the explanation of verse 127 by Aisha bint Abi Bakr and the hadith about Allah taking Ibrahim as His Khalīl, since both explicitly explain the verses themselves.
