Page 328 of the standard Uthmani codex continues Surah Al-Anbya, covering verses 73 through 81.
Thematically, this page centers heavily on the prophetic lineages of Prophet Lut (Lot), Prophet Nuh (Noah), Prophet Dawud (David), and Prophet Sulayman (Solomon). It details unique miracles, the administration of justice, and the mastery over the natural world given to these leaders.
“And to Lot We gave judgment and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing bad deeds...” (Quran 21:74)
These verses reference the physical extraction of Prophet Lut and his immediate family before his city was entirely flipped upside down due to their transgressive actions. The Sunnah underscores how severely the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ viewed those actions, warning his own nation against replicating the behavior that led to that specific, absolute destruction.
The Prophetic Warning: Ibn Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Whomever you find committing the sin of the people of Lut, eliminate them [from the society]."

“And [mention] Noah, when he called [upon Us] before, so We answered him and saved him and his family from the great affliction.” (Quran 21:76)
This verse references Nuh’s famous prayer after 950 years of patient preaching, which resulted in the global flood. The Sunnah highlights that on the Day of Judgment, humanity will flock to Nuh precisely because he holds the unique status of being the first major Messenger (Rasul) sent to a rebellious earth.
The Status of Nuh on Judgment Day: In a lengthy and famous Hadith detailing intercession (Shafa'ah), Anas ibn Malik reported that the Prophet ﷺ said people will run to Nuh on the Day of Resurrection and say:
"O Noah! You are the first of the Messengers to the people of the earth, and Allah named you a grateful servant..."

This section of page 328 focuses heavily on the father-son dynamics of Dawud and Sulayman. Verse 78 narrates a legal case where a flock of sheep ruined a neighbor's field at night. Dawud ruled that the field owner should keep the sheep as compensation. However, young Sulayman stepped in with a more dynamic, reconciliatory ruling.
“And We gave understanding of the case to Solomon, and to each [of them] We gave judgment and knowledge...” (Quran 21:79)
The Sunnah explicitly records other judicial cases where Sulayman’s unique understanding outshone his father's, demonstrating why Allah praises his legal mind in verse 79.
The Case of the Two Mothers and the Wolf: Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
"There were two women who each had a child. A wolf came and took the child of one of them. The older woman claimed the remaining child belonged to her, while the younger woman also claimed it. They went to Dawud for a ruling, and he judged in favor of the older woman. Then they left and passed by Sulayman. He asked for the story, then commanded: 'Bring me a knife so I can cut the child in half between you!' The younger woman screamed: 'Do not do it, may Allah have mercy on you! It is her child!' Hearing her maternal instinct, Sulayman instantly reversed the ruling and gave the child to the younger woman."

“And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind, blowing forcefully, proceeding by his command to the land which We had blessed...” (Quran 21:81)
Sulayman was granted a kingdom unlike any other human being in history, including the ability to ride and command weather patterns. The Sunnah records that he requested this unmatched dominion directly from Allah.
The Three Supplications of Sulayman: Abdullah ibn Amr reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
"When Sulayman, the son of Dawud, finished building the Holy House (Bayt al-Maqdis), he asked Allah for three things: A judgment that matched His judgment, a kingdom that no one after him would ever possess, and that anyone who comes to this Mosque solely to pray would have their sins wiped clean like the day they were born." The Prophet noted that Allah granted him all three.
