84. Surah Al-Inshiqaq (الانشقاق), the 84th chapter of the Qur'an, is a visually vivid Makkan Surah composed of 25 verses. Its title translates directly to "The Sundering", "The Splitting Open", or "The Bursting Asunder", referring to the catastrophic physical tearing apart of the heavens at the arrival of the Last Hour.
